Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET), Kalady was founded in 2001. ASIET Kalady courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The courses are offered at UG, PG, and PhD levels. The college is managed by the Adi Sankara Trust. It is a private college affiliated with the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram .
