AKITS was founded in 2006 and is situated in Vepalagadda, Kothagudem, Bhadradri, Telangana. All its affiliated college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and it provides a wide streams of engineering and management courses. Sited on a 10. 38 activities acres, this college has an overall enrolment capacity of 645 students and had employed 187 faculty members.

The institute offers 17 courses in four degree programmes in Engineering disciplines and Management. AKITS has built ultra-morden facilities in order to support the learning process of students at the facility.
