Abbnoor Polytechnic College, Faridkot

Abbnoor Polytechnic College was started in the year 2008 is an affiliated college situated in Faridkot, Punjab. Located on Ferozpur Road, this institution is co-educational and presents a number of diploma courses in engineering specializations. Abbnoor Polytechnic College aims at admitting a total of one hundred and twenty students for effective learning environment for engineering student.

The college presently provides five diploma courses and all of them are full time courses in the stream of engineering: civil, computer science, electrical, mechanical and electronics and telecommunication. To encourage the student learning, there are several college infrastructures that have been established in the college.

The campus has two entirely separate hostels for boys and girls and living accommodation with recreational facilities, lounges with TV, library and reading rooms. Healthy food choice in a Mess is maintained by committees of students where Mess is cooperative instead of being a commercial one.

College library as a knowledge center provides a collection reflecting contemporary approach with reference to Engineering and Allied Fields. Students can use books and other print as well as electronic sources for their coursework. The college for those having interest in sporting activities promote the aspect of health and provide for the sporting needs and requirements of the students.

The Abbnoor Polytechnic College has five diploma courses offered in this institution and all of them are regular courses that take three years to complete each course.

The courses include the following engineering disciplines to help the students at the Institute ready in Civil Engineering , Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering .
